Section sewing is the traditional method for fixing pages together and involves the pages being stitched together rather than just glued.

It is considered a superior method for book production as the finished product opens flat and there is no risk of any sheets falling out.

This is particularly ideal for full colour spreads for luxury brands and architectural projects.

State of the art section sewing binding machinery

We have invested heavily in state of the art binding machinery so we can offer a professional yet economical service for clients regardless of whether they require one book or hundreds.

The single book service is ideal for students looking for the very best bindings for their portfolios and dissertations.

We can section sew books from a PDF file set up as single pages (the number of pages must be a multiple of 4). We can even create the page impositions using our specialised software. The maximum page size for sewing is 500mm x 500mm.

Simply put, if you would like your book to open flat you should have it section sewn.
