Preparing Print Ready Files For Short Run Print & Bind

Our preferred format for text files is a print ready PDF saved as one PDF file single page to view with fonts embedded and crop marks selected.

Please do not save as double page spreads or save each page as individual PDF's - we will be unable to use files supplied in this way.

We recommend allowing a minimum of 10mm clear white space on all sides unless you have images that are intended to bleed to the edge of the page.

If you are using Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress to prepare your files prior to saving as print ready PDFs please ensure that you are using a CMYK workflow rather than an RGB one. This should eliminate the possibility of unintended colour conversions occurring during final output to PDF.

Please note that we cannot accept Word documents. These must be turned into print ready PDFs before being sent to us.
